After exiting Bollywood in 2019, Zaira Wasim published her first photo on social media. Acting, she claimed, was incompatible with her faith. The former actress shared a selfie of herself on a bridge with her followers on Instagram. Her face, however, is obscured by the fact that she is facing the camera with her back to it.

Zaira Wasim is a Kashmiri actress who debuted in Bollywood in 2016 with Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Babita Phogat, a wrestler, was the character she played. Both film critics and fans praised her performance as the teenage wrestler. Aamir Khan’s home production Secret Superstar included her in 2017. Zaira was last seen in The Sky Is Pink, a film starring Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar. In Shonali Bose’s film, she played the protagonist character, Aisha Chaudhary.

Zaira Wasim has previously requested that her social media photographs be removed from her fan pages. She shared a photo of herself soaking up the rays of the sun today, October 5. “The warm October sun (sic),” she captioned a shot she shared on Instagram.

Zaira Wasim announced her retirement from acting on Facebook in June 2019 with a thorough message. “Though I may blend in wonderfully here, I do not belong here,” she wrote.

“I made a decision five years ago that impacted my life forever.” As soon as I stepped foot in Bollywood, I was greeted with a flood of attention. I began to be the focus of public attention; I was presented as the gospel of success, and I was frequently referred to as a role model for young people. That was never something I set out to do or be, especially when it came to my concepts of success and failure, which I had only recently begun to investigate.
