He hails from a very ordinary village of Bihar. His initial school days are from Loyola High School Patna. He later got shifted to Delhi for his higher studies. He got graduated from Deshbandhu College of Delhi University. He is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, where he enrolled himself in a course of post-graduate diploma in Hindi Journalism.
He started his career at NDTV. He is now the Senior Executive Editor at NDTV India. In his career spanning more than several decades, he has always represented the true core sense of journalism.
