Nitu Ghanghas (born 19 October 2000) could be an Indian boxer who is a two-time world youth champion in pugilist. She won the trophy at the 2022 Commonwealth Games within the minimumweight category. The 21-year-old gold medalist, Nitu who shined in gold at her very first CWG shared the thought process she had before the match. She also expressed her feeling post the win. She said, “I aimed to play my game with full focus and was to play for gold only. I used to be very confident even before my bout that I had to fight for gold only and provide my 100% within the game.”

She kicked it up a notch further the following year, winning a gold medal at the Balkan Youth International Boxing Championship in Sofia, which is located in Bulgaria. Southpaw also became both the Asian and Indian youth champions in the year of 2018.
