Mohammed Shami is a very popular name for all Indian cricket fans. He is a right-arm fast bowler in team India who has made a mark among cricket buffs. He is widely appreciated for his bowling actions. He domestically plays for Bengal and Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He bowls on an average of 145-150 Kmph speed. He is adept in swings, even the reverse swing.

His One Day International (ODI) debut was against Pakistan. He had bowled four maiden overs in his debut. In his Test debut, he made a record five-wicket haul against the West Indies team. He holds the record of third-fastest Indian bowler to have taken 100 Test wickets. He is also the fastest Indian bowler to have made a record of taking 100 ODI wickets.

Mohammed Shami is a living inspiration of the fact that anyone who has talent can achieve anything with dedication and hard work. He comes from an extremely underprivileged family. He comes from a small village in Uttar Pradesh, where his father was a farmer.

Mohammed Shami’s luck clicked after he joined Mohun Bagan Cricket Club. He got the opportunity to bowl with former Indian Cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly. His talent was well noticed and Sourav Ganguly recommended his name. He was soon selected in the Bengal squad and he got the opportunity to play in Ranji Trophy.

He got involved in many controversies. One of the biggest controversies he has ever been was when a police case was filed by his wife against him on domestic abuse, adultery and many more sections. Further allegations against him were made when it was said that he was involved in a match-fixing on a match against Pakistan. The allegations were later discarded after a series of investigations. After all the tough times he overcame it with a better version of himself.
