Kushagra Rawat is (born 16 February in the year 2000) is an Indian swimmer. He competed in the men’s 400-meter freestyle at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. But he failed to qualify to compete in the final. At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, held within the summer in Birmingham, England, Rawat placed fourteenth in the 400-meter freestyle with a time of 3:57.45. within the total 200-meter freestyle in the subsequent day. Rawat was placed eighth and also 25th overall, with a time of 1:54.56. Three days later, he ranked eighth within the preliminaries of the 1500-meter freestyle with a time of 15:47.77 and qualified for the ultimate. He placed eighth in the final, finishing in an exceedingly time of 15:42.67.

Personal Life

On last Saturday, Kushagra Rawat finished his last  heat in the men’s total 200m freestyle event. Rawat was clocked at 1:54.56 seconds, which was got won by Elijah Winnington who was of Australia with timing of 1:46.87s. South Africa’s Matthew Sates had finished second and qualified for the ultimate with timing of 1:48.25s. The other three finalists came from heat 4 and warmth 5. Earlier, within the men’s 400m freestyle heat, Kushagra Rawat did not advance to the semifinals after clocking 3:57.45 to complete 14th overall.

Rawat, meanwhile, rewrote yet another national record within the 1500m freestyle for men. He timed a total of 15:38.13 seconds to sink in his national mark of 15:41.45 seconds set in the year 2019.
