Kieron Adrian Pollard (born 12 May 1987) may be a Trinidadian cricketer. He captained the archipelago cricket team in limited overs cricket and Trinbago Knight Riders in CPL. He’s a right arm medium – fast bowling all-rounder. During the 2009 Champions League, he was signed by both the Southern Redbacks and Somerset for his domestic Twenty20 campaigns. He was the joint and one of the highest paid player in the year of 2010 Indian Premier League. He is playing for the team Mumbai Indians.

Early Life:
Pollard was born in Tacarigua, Trinidad, and Tobago, where he was raised, together with two younger sisters, in a very poor home by his single mother. After representing Trinidad and Tobago within the 2005 TCL Group archipelago Under-19 Challenge, he was selected as a part of the Indies Under-19 cricket team to tour Pakistan.
He was also named within the West Indies squad for the year 2006 U/19 in the Cricket tourney, held in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Where he was the only one to managed to form 19–runs in his four innings. Though he did manage to require two wickets in an exceedingly defeat to Australia.
Career:
Pollard was recalled to the Indies ODI squad for the series against the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. He retained his place within the squad for the house series against Australia. But after uncountable 11 and 0 within the first two matches, he was dropped for the ultimate three. Despite his poor form within the previous season’s Stanford Twenty20, Pollard was named as a part of the initial 32-member Stanford Superstars Twenty20 squad.
The squad would supply the starters for the US$20 million winner-take-all match against England later within the year. After some series of practice matches, he got included in the team for the warm-up match against his Trinidad and Tobago side. Pollard made total 24 runs off 14 balls and claimed the wicket of captain Daren Ganga.
