Joseph David Keery( born April 24, 1992) is an American actor and musician. He’s best known for playing Steve Harrington in the wisdom fabrication series Stranger effects( 2016 – present) and for his part in the comedy film Free joe( 2021). Keery releases music under the stage name Djo. He’s a former member of the psychedelic gemstone band Post Animal.
After graduating from DePaul, Keery went to over a hundred examinations. Before his rout part in Foreigner goods, Keery appeared in a KFC, Domino’s, and amiibo marketable, and had placed in Empire and Chicago Fire. Keery was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts. His father is a mastermind and his mama is an English professor. He’s the second of five children. Keery was raised in Newburyport and attended River Valley Charter School, an original Montessori abecedarian and middle academy, and Newburyport High School. When he was youthful, he shared in Theater in the Open, a performing trades camp at Maudslay State Park, but eventually began acting in a high academy, originally performing there at his aged family’s asseveration. ( citation demanded) Keery went on to study at The Theatre School at DePaul University and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelorette of Fine Trade in Amusement.
