James Campbell Bower

James Metcalfe Campbell Bower is an English actor and singer who was born on 22 November 1988. He made his first feature film debut in Hollywood in the year 2007 with a negative supporting role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and went on to feature in the film The Twilight Saga in the year between 2007-2010, he also acted in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and as the young Gellert Grindelwald in one of the popular web series named Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

 In recent 2022, Bower gained critical acclaim for his amazing performance as Henry Creel aka Vecna in the fourth series of Stranger Things 4, From 2015 to 2020, he was the frontman of the London-based band Counterfeit.

Early life and Education

James Campbell Bower was born in London. His mother may well be a music manager and his father works for the Gibson Guitar Corporation. His maternal great-great-great-great-grandfather was Sir John Campbell, of Airds, an official of Saint Vincent and also the Grenadines. He has been inclined to music and band performance from a very young age. James started playing the violin as a young child within which he was instructed with the Suzuki method. He attended Bedales School, a co-educational independent school in Hampshire. Then he will be a former member of the National Youth Music Theatre and also the National Youth Theatre. Report

Acting and Music Career

James starred in the year 2020 film Six Days of Sistine, distributed by Mbur Indie Film Distributor and co-starring Erica Johnson. Since 2015, Bower has voiced Skiff within the Thomas & Friends franchise. He has contributed to the tv show, two home videos, and therefore the film Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure. In 2022, Bower starred as Henry Creel / One / Vecna in season four of the Netflix series Stranger Things. The role required up to eight hours daily to use the makeup for Vecna. Bower was the frontman and singer for the band Counterfeit, which released its first album in March 2017, and had a US tour within the same year. In November 2020, Bower announced the band’s split through the Instagram page.
