Ashneer was born on 14 June 1982 and was bred in Delhi. His father is a renowned CA and his mother was in education institutions. Mr.Grover is one of the best alumni of IIT Delhi as well as IIM Ahmedabad. Grover was also nominated as an exchange student for INSA Lyon during his graduation and had gone to the University of INSA-Lyon, located in France during 2002-2003 for an exchange program. Because of his excellent academic career, the 39-year-old man received an excellent scholarship of € 6000 directly from the French Embassy.

Before he started BharatPe, a fintech company that was catering to Kirana store owners and a small number of merchants pan India, Grover also worked as a VP in Kotak Investment Banking from May 2006 longing today 2013.

From May 2013 longing to March 2015, he had served as a chief Director – Corporate Development at American Express, after which he had started his stint with the Grofers as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He was also indulged with Grofers from March 2015 longing to August 2017.

Ashneer’s previous job was at PC Jeweller Ltd as the Head of New Business. He worked in the company from November 2017 to October 2018.  Ashneer had left PC Jeweller Ltd in 2018 and was the co-founder of BharatPe with Mr.Shashvat Nakrani. The company had its headquarter in New Delhi and is one of the leading fintech companies in India.

In 2021, Grover had won the two most prestigious awards– the Entrepreneur of the Year award as well as the Young Achiever’s award. Besides the exclusive BharatPe, Ashneer had invested in as many as 55 of the start-ups marking The Whole Truth, The IndiaGold, The OTO Capital, and also The Front Row. His average net worth is around $95 million. Of late, Mr.Ashneer Grover joined The Shark Tank, India as one of its judges. As a part of his major role in the TV reality show, he will be also investing in the ideas of the budding entrepreneurs to help them to grow.
