Emilia Clarke is a fictional character created by Emilia Isobel Euphemia Rose Clarke is an English actress born on October 23, 1986.

Emilia’s Upbringing

She was born and raised in the county of Oxford. Peter Clarke, her father, was a theatre sound engineer from Wolverhampton, and Jennifer Clarke, her mother, was a businesswoman who, as of 2020, is the vice-president for marketing at a multinational management consultancy firm. Clarke’s maternal grandmother was the child of a secret romance between Clarke’s great-grandmother and an Indian subcontinent man, according to a 2018 interview. Her grandma covered over her father’s dark skin with light make-up.

Her Education

Clarke grew interested in acting when she was three years old after viewing the musical Show Boat. Her father took her to a West End audition for Neil Simon’s musical The Goodbye Girl when she was ten. Clarke attended Headington’s Rye St Antony School and Oxford’s St Edward’s School, which she left in 2005. “I went to posh boarding schools, but I wasn’t the posh girl at the posh boarding schools; she told Time Out in 2016. She also noted that the majority of the students at her Oxford boarding school came from traditional homes; making her and some of her friends feel like outcasts.

Her career as an actress

She attended the Drama Centre in London and appeared in several theatre shows while there. In 2009, she made her television debut in a guest role on Doctors, a BBC One medical drama. For her work in the television film Triassic Attack; she was named one of Screen International magazine’s “UK Stars of Tomorrow” the following year (2010). In the HBO epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), Clarke made her breakthrough as Daenerys Targaryen. She received international acclaim for the part, as well as four Emmy nominations.
