Colleen Hoover is an American author who was a self-publisher of her books. She wrote a book about domestic violence in 2016 which got huge attention all over the world.
Colleen Hoover (born December 11, in the year 1979) is an American author of romance and young adult fiction, and dramatic books. She is best known for her 2016 romance novel published as It Ends With Us. Many of her works were self-published before she was picked up by a publishing house.
Family and Education:
Hoover had grown up in Saltillo, Texas, and graduated from Saltillo High School in the year 1998. In the year 2000, she married Heath Hoover, she has three sons. Hoover graduated from Texas A&M- Commerce also with a degree in social work. She also had a skill that worked colorful social work and tutoring jobs until she started her jotting career. In November 2011, Hoover began writing her debut novel with no intention of getting those books published. Hoover tone- published Slammed in January in the year 2012. Hoover states that she published the novel so her mama, who had just gotten an Amazon Kindle, could read it and so she get an effect, Point of Retreat, in February in the year 2012.
Her new published novel It Ends with Us, based on the relationship between both her mother and father, was published in the year of 2016. Hoover described it in the year 2016 only as “the hardest book I’ve ever written. The novel is dramatic and features a couple and includes depictions of domestic violence. The book’s main character was named as Lily, experiences domestic violence at a very young age from her parents’ abuse towards each other and her father abusing her, and ends up in a violent relationship as she grows as an adult.
