Born on the 7th of August 1975, Charlize Theron is an actress and producer from South Africa and the United States. Theron has won numerous awards, including an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Named one of the 100 most important persons in the world by Time magazine, Theron has faced her fair share of adversities. On a night in June 1991 when the star was 15, she witnessed something which one can only call ghastly.

“When my father stepped into the house with a gun, he was so intoxicated that he was not supposed to be able to walk,” Charlize recounted. “From the inside, both of us were leaning against the door to keep the rampaging maniac out.” she explained.”

She’s not embarrassed to talk about any of it because more we talk about it because she realized that she’s not alone in any of it”, said Gerda as she embraced herself. This tale has always been about growing up with addicts and what that does to a person.

In a recent interview, the artist wished the events of that night had never occurred. “It’s what happens when you don’t get to the bottom of these problems.”, she said.

Regardless of all the trials and tribulations fate has thrown her way, Theron has always triumphed, standing strong as if declaring war on fate itself. Charlize Theron has proven her authority and continues to amaze us all to this day.
