Biography of Jess Cliffe was (27 born June 1981) is a designer of video games who created the Half-Life mod of Counter-Strike with Minh Le and started developing the Counter-Strike series. He also played the “voice of Counter-Strike” via the radio and the voice line and maintained sound effects all by himself. He has worked on maps for Half-Life: Deathmatch to create this first ever complicated video game.
Career life:
Before he got involved in the original Counter-Strike, Jess Cliffe was a very active gaming web developer. After almost a year of maintaining the website, he moved again to start the website Action Quake2 Map Depot. It was when he was involved with this site and got to know Marcelo Delay and Minh Le as they were also a part of the team developing Action Quake 2.
Legal history:
On 2 February 2018, [at 1:17 a.m.], Cliffe was arrested on allegations of “sexual exploitation of a minor”.
Cliffe accidentally met a girl online through an adult website, known as SeekingArrangement.com, and paid her for a date that legally became sexual. Cliffe stated that he thought he was paying for a “matchmaking fee” on a dating website which is normal. In the encounter, the girl said that Cliffe videotaped their encounter “against her will” but Cliffe denied that he videotaped the encounter and said it was a lie.
Cliff’s Statement:
On 6 March 2019, which was edited in April 2019, Cliffe wrote a Reddit that he “never recorded this person at all” that the allegations are a lie, and passed a polygraph test on this subject. He stated that he was not charged with making a recording for something illegal or a videotape, and had allowed the police to review the contents of his phone to prove himself.
