Arjun Chakrabarty: Early Life and Career

Arjun Chakrabarty was born on 5 March 1990 in Kolkata, state, India. He’s a Bengali actor known for ‘Gaaner Opare’ (TV series), ‘Chirodini Tumi Je Amar 2’ (film), ‘Guptodhon’ Franchise (films), ‘Byomkesh Gowtro’ (film), and plenty of others, in his upcoming film ‘Avijatrik’, the actor is seen essaying the enduring role of ‘Apu’. Arjun Chakrabarty may be a television actor mainly working within the Bengali-language television industry based in Kolkata West Bengal. He came to prominence playing the male protagonist “Gora” within the tv serial Gaaner Oparey. Now he is known for his portrayal as Abir within the Guptodhon franchise.

 Early Life:

His acting debut was in Gaaner Oparey, a TV serial produced by Ideas Creations. Which gave him an enormous fanbase that aired on Star Jalsha from 28 June within the year 2010 to 16 April 2011. Chakrabarty received numerous accolades and awards for his incredible portrayal of the lead role, Gora in his debut film.

His debut film Bapi Bari Jaa was released on 7 December 2012 and he played the male main lead. It was also the silver screen debut of Mimi Chakraborty who was a co-star in Gaaner Opry. He’s the younger son of actors named Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and his mother Mithu Chakrabarty. Arjun Chakrabarty attended Assembly of God school, Kolkata, and graduated from St. Xaviers College, in Kolkata with a degree in Mass Communication and videography, after which he began acting as his passion. he’s also known by the nickname “Rishi”.

 Career:

┬áBefore getting into movies, he was popular for participating in `Gora` on the hit TV show, Gaaner Oparey (2010-2011). Arjun`s other acting credits include Chirodini Tumi Je Amar 2 (2014), Bawal (2015), and One (2017). He’s associated with the 2018 Bengali thriller drama Guptodhoner Sondhane which was directed by Dhrubo Banerjee. His 2019 projects include the good series Sakhhii, directed by Shouvick Sarkar and Tushagni, and Durgeshgorer Guptodhon, also directed by Dhrubo Banerjee. His 2020 releases include the simplest films Awasaan and Love Aaj Kal Porshu.
